This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners looking to explore the basics of watercolour and capture the charm of historic landscapes.
ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Watercolour is a painting method where colour pigments are suspended in water or a water-based solution.
In this Watercolour & Landscape Painting workshop, you will learn about the basics of the delicate and whimsical art flow of paint in water. The workshop will also introduce you to the basics of painting landscapes, referencing the wonderful architecture of Dr. Crookston’s House.
The workshop is run by the incredible Gizelle of the Gizelle Faye Creative Studio.
Gizelle and her team very proudly develop their workshops with a great amount of thought and intention. This ensures that they are delivered in a way that participants are able to easily return to the artform at any time, even when they’re at home.
All of Gizelle’s workshops include a comprehensive manual and carefully sourced materials that can be taken home to continue practicing your new skills.
YOUR PERSONAL WATERCOLOUR KIT
Each participant will receive a Watercolour Kit to use during the workshop which they can take home to continue their practice.
The kit contains:
- Watercolour dot cards using Holbein watercolours
- A set of watercolour brushes in various sizes
- A set of cotton watercolour paper
- An Intro to Watercolour guide
- Paint palette, clipboard, pencil & eraser

SPEND THE DAY WITH US – WORKSHOP & HISTORIC TOUR
Our workshop dates coincide with Guided Historic Tours of the stunning 1880s Estate.
We invite you to stay a while longer and join us for a guided tour at the conclusion of your workshop.
Tours will run at 10am, 12pm and 2pm on the day.
Places on the tours are strictly limited so it is strongly recommended to book ahead to ensure your spot.
