Esteemed Australian musician, singer & songwriter, Dave Graney, together with the incredible Clare Moore, perform a live & intimate show under the Grand Marquee.

An unforgettable evening of live music at The Estate Camden.

Dave GraneyClare Moore will take you on a musical journey like no other.

Match fit and constantly creating, Dave & Clare have been playing together since the 80’s and their mixture of style, wry humour and excellent chops means they never disappoint.

This intimate show will cherry pick moments from their hot streak in the 90’s with The Coral Snakes, along with classic cuts from the albums before and since.

DAVE & CLARE – MUSICAL MAGIC & MORE TO COME

They released two albums in 2024. The first was ‘(strangely)(emotional)’, an exotic, lyrical album that involved interior journeys of memory of family and time and place. Journeying through inner and outer worlds with jazz voicings, vibes, keys, guitars and harp. A very much Covid influenced work, including the affectionate blues Poor Covid.

The second was the hot and sprawling ‘I Passed Through Minor Chord In A Morning’ which was an auto harped, cut and pasted, improvised, deep fried, distorted hip hop beaten affair that came with a t-shirt.

Dave GraneyClare Moore promise more releases in 2025.

When they play, they bring a vast songbook and bring it to life with vibes, keys, guitars, voices and rhythm machines.

Don’t miss out. It’s never like anybody else.

DON’T JUST TAKE OUR WORD FOR IT…

Dave Graney is one of rock’n’roll’s great scintillators. Over a career spanning nearly 40 years – almost all of that working with his wife Clare Moore – the maverick Australian musician has built up one of the most eclectic bodies of work in the business. A long-standing caporegime in what he calls the Melbourne music Mafia, Graney has channelled everyone from Charles Aznavour to Captain Beefheart and the manic messianism of the final days of Jim Morrison, all with the swagger and elan of a bohemian saloon entertainer in the wild west. One-dimensional he certainly is not.”

Dave Graney. A regular presence over the festival’s three days and nights… His two sets – the second of which where he was joined by the legendary former Orange Juice guitarist Malcom Ross – merely begged the question why this man is not a huge international star.”

Clare is inspirational throughout the gig, she has to be one the best drummers I’ve seen, moving from tasteful jazzy licks, via funk, into driven rock rhythms. Dave is slick, hip and cool, you wouldn’t want it any other way. The vocal harmonies are spot on. The inter-song banter is irreverent, funny and draws the crowd into Graney world. Dave makes an off-colour remark and Clare gives him the hard stare. It’s just perfect.”
